Child Care
Stepping Stones, our child care ministry, is available for children from newborn through younger 3’s for families attending the morning worship service. Each Sunday there is a team of loving volunteers to welcome the little ones and care for them while their parents and loved ones are attending the worship service. Child care is available from 10:15 through the end of the worship service.
Children's Church
Children's Church is for children 2 years of age through 5th grade and has three fun classes where they learn the wonderful truths about the Bible and Jesus through two curriculums from AWANA:
Steppingstones (2 year olds – younger 3’s) – is an introduction to Children’s Church. The children have a 10 – 15 minute lesson during their time in Child Care. The Puggles curriculum lessons are specifically geared toward toddlers with an age-appropriate Bible story, songs and activity.
Precious Pebbles (older 3’s – K) and Righteous Rocks (1st – 5th grades) are led by an equipped team of volunteers. The BRITE children’s discipleship program is structured to help develop kids to know the Bible and helps them navigate a changing culture, build a strong foundation of faith, and love Jesus for the rest of their lives. Whether singing, doing crafts and activities, or memorizing Scripture, the children have fun learning Bible truths. Children worship together with their families for songs and prayer then are dismissed to Children’s Church to participate in their own time of songs, offering, and then class time.
We aim to introduce boys and girls to God’s love and how He cares for His children by sending His son Jesus to save us.
It is our goal to maintain a safe and secure environment for the kids. A parent/guardian needs to check in your child/ren at which time the child will receive a label specific to them. You will receive a label that has a matching number to your child’s. This number needs to be presented to pick up your child/ren at their classroom. Parents/Guardians can check in their children at one of two locations – the Calvary Kids welcome desk, located on the lower level, or at the iPad in the main level foyer by the sanctuary. For the safety of all children and staff, there is always a security team member on the premises, and all doors are monitored throughout the morning.
