Pioneer Girls

Where girls learn to grow as young women who follow Christ

Monday evenings from 6:45 - 8:15 pm
K - 12th Grade

Calvary has had an active Pioneer Girls program for over 45 years, and we have no plans of stopping now! In Pioneer Girls, there are three things we love to see happen. The greatest is to see girls enter into a personal relationship with Christ and know His word. But we also love to see them form healthy relationships in their time together. We also love to see them grow as young women. When these three things happen, we get excited!

When our girls get together each week, they get to sing together, have a time of “Bible Exploration” with one another and then participate in various activities including cooking, crafts, or games. Not only that, but they also get to work on Bible Awards and Activity Awards, earning them badges for their Pioneer Girl Book Bag.

We even have special events throughout the year like Christmas Caroling for seniors in our community, or our annual Camp Cedarbrook night, our Mother-Daughter Valentine Party in February, Father-Daughter Bowling in March, and our Camporee Weekend at Camp Cedarbrook in the Adirondacks in June. You can be sure that your daughter will be making lots of memories throughout the year!

All that plus, because we know that girls need women in their lives, so we also have a Pal-Gal program where each girl (“gal”) is assigned a “pal”, a woman from the church who shows special interest in her, prays for her, and remembers her on special occasions. Every October we host a Pal-Gal Pumpkin Decorating Party and we have two pal-gal birthday parties during the year.

Pioneer Girls is definitely the place for girls to be. We’d love to have you join us!
